If Cousins, who isn’t expected to return until December or January from surgery on a torn Achilles, can get back to his four-time All-Star form, the Warriors seem practically unstoppable, which is saying something for a team that has captured the title in three of the last four years.
So GM Bob Myers has replaced JaVale McGee with ... Boogie Cousins. The $5.3M represents the taxpayer mid-level exception. Cousins is hopeful to return to the court by December/January off his torn Achilles. There will be no rush with Warriors. https://t.co/lYwGjxZchk

With a potential future Hall of Famer at every position in their starting five (when healthy), the Warriors have no weaknesses now. It’s as if Golden State is like Thanos when he was in possession of all the Infinity Gems. Since we’re less than three months removed from Avengers: Infinity War and the film is still fresh in everyone's mind, NBA Twitter was quick to make the connection. Much like Thanos when he had every stone on his Infinity gauntlet, the Warriors seem unbeatable, regardless of what group of Avengers, er, superstars you try to assemble to take them down. Have mercy on the rest of the league's souls.
