Milwaukee Bucks rookie Sterling Brown (not to be confused with the actor, Sterling K. Brown) was tased and arrested on Friday morning following a dispute with the local police.

According to a law enforcement official, Brown was ticketed after he parked his car across two handicap spaces in a Walgreen's parking lot. From there officers "were writing a parking ticket on Brown’s Mercedes when Brown confronted them and became combative." One officer responded to those actions by tasing him before booking him for resisting arrest.

Police did not identify Brown in a statement to News/Talk 1130 WISN, but they did confirm the arrest details. A law enforcement source also confirmed that the suspect was Brown, while the Bucks stated, vaguely, that they're "aware of the incident involving Sterling Brown and are looking into it."

Brown was drafted out of SMU with the 46th overall pick by the 76ers in the 2017 draft. Shortly after that selection his draft rights were obtained by Milwaukee for $1.9 million. In 21 games this season, he has very modest averages of 3.5 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest. He also made his first start this past Saturday.
