Is Ronda Rousey going to end up wrestling full-time in the WWE at some point?

That was the question everyone was asking back in March 2015 after Rousey took part in WrestleMania. The thought was that, once her UFC career came to a close, she would have a spot on the WWE roster if she wanted it. It seemed like a natural fit for both sides.

Since then, Rousey has lost not just one but two UFC matches in decisive fashion, which has knocked some of the sparkle off her legacy and made her seem way more vulnerable than she was back in 2015. But despite that, the WWE still seems to have an interest in bringing her on board at some point. As recently as December, Stephanie McMahon said Rousey could eventually end up in the WWE.

And during a recent interview with TMZ Sports, legendary WWE announcer Jim Ross revealed that he thinks Rousey signing with the WWE is "inevitable." According to him, we will be seeing more Rousey appearances at future WrestleManias, as he believes she has all of the star qualities that would make her perfect for the world of pro wrestling.

"She’s going to be a big star," Ross said. "It’s inevitable. I see her in a WrestleMania someday. Too great an opportunity for her to pass up and for WWE to pass up. It’s a match made in heaven."

For what it’s worth, Rousey does appear to be finished fighting with the UFC, but she hasn’t shown much interest in pro wrestling as of late. Rather, she seems more inclined to enjoy married life for a while before living out the rest of her life as the most famous doomsday prepper of all time.

But if the WWE came with the right offer, we’d be willing to bet Rousey would reconsider her plan to go off the grid. It would give her the chance to send her fighting career off on a high note and allow her to instantly become one of the biggest names in pro wrestling.
