Pornhub's ratings plummeted (in both the U.S. and Ireland!) during Saturday night's Mayweather-McGregor fight.

As has apparently become the custom for major events, porn viewership dropped significantly during the nearly hour-long spectacle that was the climax of the months of Mayweather-McGregor buildup.

According to data that Pornhub provided exclusively to Men's Healthwanking traffic dropped significantly in both the U.S. and McGregor's home country of Ireland. More specifically, 21 percent of Americans turned their eyeballs from their computer/phone screens to watch the fight. You can invert that number to learn how much viewership dropped by worldwide during the bout (sorry, just a colorful way to say 12 percent):

As for Ireland, as we mentioned, traffic there dropped too. To anyone still unconvinced there's a correlation, here's a graph showing the 11 percent decrease during the fighting hour, followed by a 174 percent increase afterward (guess everyone copes with defeat differently in the exact same way over there):

As you can also see from the graphs, prospective jacker-offers resumed their scheduled Saturday night activity afterward. Hopefully, for the sake of their hosts, they did so after they returned home from the bars/friends' homes where they watched the bout.

To dig into the numbers more, Pornhub'saudience of 18-34-year-olds dipped 26 percent while the two men were duking it out. But once things ended, it was the 35-54-year-olds who cracked their celebratory (or sorrow-filled) suds. Come up with your own theory for that, you know, if you want, in the comment section below. As for us, it kinds of makes us nervous just how much info they appear to have on everyone who visits the site.
