Blake Griffin is going to be spending even more time on the bench as a result of the broken bone that he suffered in his right hand recently.
Griffin is currently out for at least a few more weeks with the injury, and now, the Clippers have also announced that he will serve a four-game suspension for punching team equipment manager Matias Testi during an altercation that took place in Toronto last month. Woike also tweeted out this statement that the Clippers sent out this afternoon, which indicates that, in addition to serving a four-game suspension, Griffin will also give up five games’ worth of pay as a result of his suspension and injury:
No word yet on when the Clippers can expect Griffin to be back in the lineup.
