Blake Griffin Suspended Four Games Without Pay for Punching Clippers’ Equipment Manager

Blake Griffin will serve a four-game suspension for punching a Clippers’ employee last month.

Blake Griffin is going to be spending even more time on the bench as a result of the broken bone that he suffered in his right hand recently.

Griffin is currently out for at least a few more weeks with the injury, and now, the Clippers have also announced that he will serve a four-game suspension for punching team equipment manager Matias Testi during an altercation that took place in Toronto last month. OC Register reporter Dan Woike broke the news:

Woike also tweeted out this statement that the Clippers sent out this afternoon, which indicates that, in addition to serving a four-game suspension, Griffin will also give up five games’ worth of pay as a result of his suspension and injury:

No word yet on when the Clippers can expect Griffin to be back in the lineup.
