UPDATE 2:

TMZ Sports obtained a 911 call that was made from Gerald Green’s condo complex on Wednesday morning. In it, a woman tells a 911 operator that Green is unconscious and bleeding.

“I have a resident that just passed out,” the woman says. “He’s bleeding. He just passed out right now.”

TMZ Sports is reporting that, early this morning, Gerald Green was spotted screaming in the lobby of his condo building and acting strange. Witnesses told TMZ Sports that Green had to be restrained by emergency personnel and that one of his fellow Heat players was there to help him. Continue to stay tuned for more details.

When Gerald Green missed the Heat’s game against the Hawks last night due to illness, it didn’t seem like a cause for concern. But according to reports out of Miami, Green had to be taken to a hospital earlier today due to whatever illness he is currently suffering from.

The Heat released a short statement on Twitter but didn’t provide any details regarding Green’s condition or what the problem is:
