Russell Wilson may have led the Seattle Seahawks to consecutive Super Bowl appearances, but fans are out to ruin his personal life after the team's 0-2 start.

Wilson is dating Ciara, you see, and plenty of people are blaming that fact on the Seattle quarterback's struggles.

A GoFundMe campaignΒ briefly appeared (viaΒ BSO), and its stated goal was simple: to break up the happy couple, because hey, look how great Future's career has gone since he and Ciara split!

Us Seahawks fans would love to see our team winning again.

This may have been a bit of an extreme example of how folks are feeling, but it was far from the only one. Check out a few samples of what pops up when you search Twitter for "Ciara curse":

Ciara might be worst than the Madden Curse. She transcends sports

The only reason #SeattleSeahawks is 0-2 is because @dangerusswilson is dating @ciara her pussy are curse ask @1future he winnin now

Along with the Seahawks returning to their winning ways, benefits to a potential breakup would presumably include the team being able to listen to Future at practice, and both Ciara and Wilson being able to have sex again.

The more we think about it, this really might be the best course of action.
