Jamaal Charles Fumbles Away Game, Gets Burned by Jim Nantz

At least a Thursday Night Game was good for once.

Jamaal Charles is good. This play is not. Simply trying to run out the clock and head to OT, the Chiefs Pro-Bowl ball carrier fumbled for six to ice any chance of a KC home victory. The Broncos, who were down by seven with, like, 45 seconds left, scored two touchdowns in nine-seconds; the first of which came on a pass from their noodle armed quarterback everyone keeps trying to push into retirement. If you're a KC fan it's unlikely there are any positives to take away from this except, maybe, the fact that a Thursday Night game was watchable for once.

Blame Andy Reid or the defense if you must, but perhaps Jim Nantz said it best:

Get 'em next week.
