Last we heard, Joel Embiidhad suffered a setback with his foot injury and was potentially going to miss his second full season with the 76ers. It was obviously heartbreaking news for Sixers fans and NBA fans as a whole, who haven't gotten the chance to see Embiid play in the league yet. But according to Sixers guard Tony Wroten, Embiid might just be back in the lineup for Philadelphia next season after all.

Wroten FaceTimed with Embiid recently. And after he did, he posted a photo of Embiid talking to him on Instagram as well as a caption that seemed to indicate Embiid will be back on the court next season:

To the best of our knowledge, Wroten isn't a doctor and, therefore, he probably isn't the most reliable source for Joel Embiid injury news. But this is, at the very least, a promising sign for Sixers fans. Stay tuned to see to see what else Embiid has to say in the coming days and weeks.
