Although he wasn't a huge contributor for the Packers this past season, defensive tackle Letroy Guion did record 32 tackles, 3.5 sacks, and one forced fumble during his first year with the team. So Green Bay was interested in bringing Guion—who spent his first five years in the NFL with the Vikings—back next year. But now, it sounds like that might be problematic due to a gigantic legal problem that Guion encountered last night.

Guion was arrested in Starke, Fla. late Tuesday and charged with felony possession of marijuana and felony possession of a firearm after police seized 357 grams of marijuana, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, and $190,000 cash from a truck that he was driving. A police report indicated that Guion was "extremely uncooperative and hostile" during a search of his vehicle and that he charged towards his truck on several occasions and said, "My money is in there. Don't let him take my money." The Starke Police Department released this photo, which shows everything that was seized from Guion's truck:

Guion was released on $100,000 bond a short time after being arrested. But the charges against him are obviously very serious, and the Packers are treating them that way.

"We are aware of a serious matter involving Letroy Guion," the Packers said earlier today in a statement. "We have not yet spoken to Letroy and we will have no further comment."

Stay tuned for further details about Guion's arrest and the charges filed against him.
