If you're a Cleveland Browns fan (and if you are, let me express my condolences now. May God take mercy on your soul), you're probably pretty curious to find out the results of the NFL's investigation into alleged texts being sent by members of the front office down to coaches on the sideline during games. Was it GM Ray Farmer? Was it owner Jimmy Haslam, calling Brian Hoyer a "poopy head" and asking Kyle Shanahan why he isn't running the Flea Flicker on every play? The possibilities are endless.

Apparently Hoyer is just as curious as we are, which is probably not a good sign since he was the Browns starting quarterback for most of the 2014 season. Hoyer, currently a free agent, is mulling a return to the Browns. But with the front office apparently in disarray, these texting reports have him skeptical of a reunion with his hometown team.

"To read the stories and see what's going on, I'm just as interested as you guys are to see where that comes out," Hoyer told ESPN. "Especially because when you read it has to do with the quarterback situation and play-calling. That's something that could affect how I feel about it."

Surprise, Brian! It was actually the equipment manager who made you run that left sweep to running back Isaiah Crowell ten times in a row. Who knew?

Hoyer wasn't completely oblivious to his front office's intrusion into the realm of what goes down on the field on Sundays, making us wonder how relieved he actually was when he was finally benched for Johnny Manziel late in the season. He told ESPN he'd "be lying" to say he didn't have some sense of what was going down behind the scenes, though to what extend he was unsure.

As the Browns relationship with Hoyer sours, it would be a major surprise to see him back with the organization in 2015. And if he thought this year was bad, just wait until Haslam comes down to the sidelines and starts yelling "SPIDER Y BANANA, BRIAN! DO IT! I HEARD IT ON TV!"
