Anthony Davis clutching his shoulder is fast becoming a sight New Orleans Pelicans fans are growing accustom to seeing.
Anthony Davis couldn't lift his arm. Hurt shoulder. Appeared in severe pain. Off to locker room. http://t.co/KuRr8ZNma2

Hopefully it's not as bad as it looked. But Anthony Davis looked like he won't be playing for a while.

After corralling a rebound against the Miami Heat, Davis took contact from Hassan Whiteside and apparently aggravated his right shoulder, the same shoulder that kept him out of a couple games before the All-Star break and the All-Star Game itself. He walked to the locker room with his left hand clutching said shoulder.
Without Davis, the Pelicans, who are currently two games behind the surging Oklahoma City Thunder for the eighth seed in the West and trending in the wrong direction, have a slim shot at making playoffs, if any at all. And if it's as bad at Ethan Skolnick's tweets indicate, Davis could end up missing a large chunk of time.
