Aaron Hernandez's trial is most definitely not a laughing matter. There's a chance he could spend a long, long, long time in prison if he's found guilty of murdering semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd in 2013. But apparently, that didn't stop his lawyer from making a #DeflateGate joke while questioning a witness yesterday.

Hernandez's lawyer James Sultan asked a state police trooper a question about tire pressure on Thursday. And after he did, he also jokingly asked the trooper if he has any formal training related to "football deflation devices." So a short time ago, Superior Court Judge Susan Garsh reportedly spoke with Sultan and told him that she would prefer if he didn't attempt to be humorous during the trial from this point on. He agreed not to make any more jokes and also apologized for what he did.
