Russell Westbrook still has about three years until he'll be a free agent. Three years! But during last night's Rockets/Thunder game in Oklahoma City, one Lakers fan who showed up for the game for whatever reason decided to start trying to recruit Westbrook to come to Los Angeles in 2017 by yelling at him from behind the OKC bench.

But Westbrook—who is currently sidelined with a hand injury—wasn't having any of it:

1.

Lakers fan six rows behind the scorer's table screams at Westbrook: "Russ, come to L.A.!!" Russ starts shaking his head no.

The Lakers fan didn't go down easy, though. As we mentioned, he was at a Rockets/Thunder game—and a bad Rockets/Thunder game at that—so rather than sit quietly and watch the game, he continued to give Westbrook his pitch. And Westbrook shut him down with the quickness:

2.

Fan: "You can shoot all you want. Come to L.A. We got rings."

Westbrook: "Get yo ass out of here and go back to L.A."

We know that we're going to have to spend the next two years talking about Kevin Durant's looming free agency. But are we going to have to spend it talking about the chances of Westbrook leaving OKC, too? We sure hope not. And we hope that Westbrook shutting this particular Lakers fan down proves that he's not going to be in the mood to discuss free agency for at least two years. So don't even bother asking him about it.
