A short while ago, the Oklahoma City Thunder released a statement through their Twitter account, letting everyone know Russell Westbrook underwent a successful surgery for the fracture in the second metacarpal in his right hand. An injury which was sustained in the first half of the Thunder's game against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.

According to the release, Westbrook will be out for, at least, a month. After four weeks, Russ will be re-evaluated to determine the next plan of attack. While OKC did put up a fight against the Clippers in their last contest, it will be tough sledding for the Thunder going forward, as they will be without their top two players in Westbrook and Kevin Durant
