Last Friday night, Johnny Manziel sent out a tweet that included a phone number with an area code from the San Antonio area. And the thought was that he had accidentally tweeted out his own number:

The tweet was deleted about five minutes after Manziel sent it out. But that didn't stop hundreds of people from retweeting it before Manziel took the tweet down. And within about an hour, the phone number was inundated with so many calls that the mailbox connected to it was full.
As it turns out, though, the number that Manziel tweeted out was not his number. Last night, ESPN reported that Manziel posted the number on Twitter as a prank to get back at a friend who was "bugging" him.
So to all those people who called Johnny Football on Friday night and left a message: Sorry, but he won't be getting back to you anytime soon.
