Things are not going well for the Chicago Bears. They got dominated at Soldier Field by the Miami Dolphins, losing 27-14 to fall to 3-4 on the season and 0-3 at home, and now it appears the players are pointing fingers at each other.

Multiple reports out of the Chicago locker room today say that players had to be physically restrained from going after each other following the fame today, with wide receiver Brandon Marshall at the center of the discord as he yelled at kicker Robbie Gould and possibly quarterback Jay Cutler as well.

It’s worth noting, too, that in his postgame comments to reporters Marshall did not mention Cutler as one of the “great group of guys” their offense has. He mentioned basically everyone else, listing Matt Forte, Alshon Jeffery, Martellus Bennett, and the entire offensive line as elite players.

To an extent, it’s perfectly fine for the Bears to be mad at each other. They were supposed to be way better than their performance has shown so far, and are digging themselves a deep hole as they hit the halfway point of their season.

And you know what’s a great antidote for locker room tension? A win. They’ll have a tough task ahead of them next week, however, as they travel to New England to take on a fresh Patriots team that won’t have played for 10 days.
