This year was supposed to be Minnesota's come-up year. Instead the Timberwolves finished under .500 and watching the playoffs at home once again. For Kevin Love, enough is enough.

Whether the Timberwolves try to sign him or not, this will be Love's last year playing for the team. Love reportedly told the Timberwolves that they have to trade him before his contract ends this year or they'll lose him as an unrestricted free agent.

In other words, "Trade me and at least try to get something." Love is hoping to play for the Lakers, but reportedly wouldn't mind signing with the Knicks. The Timberwolves are going to try to do everything they can to make him stay, but it's time for a change after never making the playoffs his entire career.
