Most don't celebrate 60th birthdays with a positive outlook. Sixty means you are long over the hill, your kids have probably graduated college, some maybe even starting to have kids of their own. You might be worrying about whether or not you can retire comfortably, and you can't play basketball without 18 braces and a couple aspirins holding your body together. No, sixty isn't a great birthday to have, unless you're Corvette, that is.

When you are Corvette, you celebrate outlasting the hundreds of other sports cars that have bits of your rubber stuck in their grills by putting out your fastest, most powerful convertible yet: The "427." Named for its 427-cubic-inch LS7 Z06 engine, the 427 is seen here blowing out 60 candles on the track. We wonder what it wished for.
