Nike has transformed its iconic Air Max 95 into an upcoming colorway of the Mercurial soccer cleat, as evidenced by these images here.
This Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro doesn't just borrow the grey and yellow color scheme from its "Neon" Air Max 95 counterpart, it fully incorporates the classic runner's human anatomy-inspired design on the knitted upper. Additional details include the updated "Air Zoom" logo on the tongue to reflect the midsole's cushioning, while a cleat sole sits below.
This isn't the first time Nike has converted an Air Max sneaker into a soccer cleat. The Swoosh has also released an Air Max Plus-inspired Mercurial cleat.
Despite an official look at the shoe, release details for this "Neon" Mercurial Vapor 16 Pro cleat have not yet been announced by Nike.
