With Eastbay’s decision to shutter its business last month, the sneaker and sportswear retailer is looking to unload its remaining stock by offering huge savings for shoppers.
Today, Eastbay announced it’s offering 70 percent off the entire site by entering the code “Thanks70” at checkout. The markdowns apply to a variety of athletic wear, sneakers, and accessories for various sports categories, with some exclusions. The savings are available for items in men’s women’s, and kids’ sizes along with equipment for numerous sports.
Eastbay announced late last month that it is closing down after being in business for over 40 years. Eastbay was best known for its mailing monthly catalogs, providing subscribers with information about the latest offerings from popular brands like Nike, Adidas, Reebok, and many others.
“We’re saying goodbye to Eastbay at the end of December 2022,” Eastbay said last month in a statement about the closure.
