FlyEase has been prominently featured in some of Nike’s recent sneaker innovations and now, the technology is coming to a Converse sneaker for the first time.

Converse, which is a subsidiary of Nike, unveiled the Chuck Taylor All Star CX FlyEase today. A majority of the upper retains the traditional look of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, but the shoe’s standout design element is the collapsable heel, allowing individuals of all physical levels to wear and take off the sneaker with minimal effort. Additional upgrades include a CX foam midsole and a modified sock liner for added comfort.
