Airei and Asics are dropping their final Gel-Quantum Kinetic collab this week, and similar to the previous two pairs, it won't be easy to come by.
For this latest drop, the Los Angeles-based label has covered the Gel-Quantum Kinetic running sneaker in a vibrant hand-dyed indigo gauze, paying homage to Japan’s rich history of indigo. Like the past releases, this sneaker project features khadi gauze from Eastern India on the upper designed to be set on fire and will reveal a base layer underneath. Aside from the sneaker, the gauze fabric is also applied to the box for personalization. It's worth mentioning that this collab is limited to only 50 pairs and each shoe is individually signed and numbered by Airei.
Readers will be able to cop this indigo-colored Airei x Asics Gel-Quantum Kinetic on Aug. 2 exclusively at Dover Street Market Ginza in Tokyo. The sneaker retails for $265. Scroll on for a closer look at the sneaker below.
