In addition to unveiling Donovan Mitchell’s next signature basketball shoe at the 2023 NBA All-Star Weekend, Adidas Basketball also showcased some of its upcoming inline offerings, including a modernized version of the late Kobe Bryant’s Crazy 1 (a shoe originally known as “The Kobe”).

Shown here is the Adidas Crazy IIInfinity that’s expected to hit retail before the end of the year. The most noticeable difference from this unreleased silhouette to its predecessor is the zip-up mesh panels on the upper while the signature Three Stripes-branded shell details remain intact.

Adidas Basketball has introduced new versions of the Crazy 1 in the past. Longtime fans may remember the Crazy 1 ADV in 2017 that featured a nubuck upper or the Crazy 1 ADV Sock in 2018 equipped with a Primeknit upper.

Exact release details for the Adidas Crazy IIInfinity have yet to be announced by Adidas, but the sneaker is confirmed for a 2023 release. Check back soon for the latest updates.

UPDATE (07/17): After its unveiling at this year's NBA All-Star Weekend, Packer has confirmed it will lead the release of the Crazy Infinity, which was previously named Crazy IIInfinity. The sneakers will be available on July 19 exclusively at Packer.com and at Packer stores for $160.
