To put things into terms that non-skateboard heads can understand, the Bones Brigade team of the mid- to late-80s was the 1992 Dream Team of skate teams. Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain, Rodney Mullen, Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and Tommy Guerrero were all at the top of their game, putting out groundbreaking videos, inventing countless tricks and racking up contest wins, all while progressing the sport from ramps to street. It's no surprise that, some 30 years after they first got together, they're all still skating. Stacy Peralta, who put the team together, also put together a fantastic documentary on the squad. And before skate shoes became a multi-kajillion dollar business, the Brigade skated in anything they could get their hands on, from Air Jordan 1s (The Search For Animal Chin was to Jordan 1s what The Dukes of Hazzard was to Dodge Chargers) to Chuck Taylors.
