Here's a First Look at Wale's New Sneaker Collaboration Dropping Next Month

It's been nearly a year since Wale and retail chain Villa dropped the "Bottle Rocket" ASICS Gel-Lyte III, and after taking a break from sneakers to work on a Timberland 6-inch boot, the rapper has a new collaboration and it's dropping soon.

Wale has hooked up with Villa once again for the Saucony Grid 9000 "Penn Relays," a project the MC hinted at back in January. Inspired by the most prestigious track and field event in the U.S., these "Penn Relays" Grid 9000s will feature a navy and red based upper with accents of gold, a white midsole, and a gum outsole.

More details and images of this collaboration will be released later this week, but for now, just know that they'll be dropping in April. Check out a preview on Wale's feet below.
