While sneakerheads eagerly await the arrival of the rumored 2015 Nike Mag release, we found something that might be even better.
Memorabilia specialists Profiles in History have just listed an eBay auction for a pair of O.G. Nike Mags that were actually worn by Michael J. Fox's Marty McFly character in Back to the Future Part II. According to the listing, this is just the second vintage pair that Profiles in History have ever obtained, with this particular pair being the better preserved of the two.
Here's the kicker — the starting bid is $30,000, a price that may be enough to scare off even the wealthiest of sneakerheads. What's more is that the seller expects the price to end somewhere between the starting price and $50,000, which is around five times as much as the highest winning bid from 2011's charity auctions.
