It's already been a big year for Mita Sneakers collaborations, and the theme will continue this weekend with a new take on one of 2018's most on-trend sneakers.
For this project, the Japanese retailer turns its attention to the New Balance 990v4 for a "Bouncing Frog" colorway that takes inspiration from the sneaker brand's Massachusetts roots. More specifically, it nods to the Boston Common Frog Pond, covering the runner in various shades of green and adding white accents. Inside, a custom insole designed by artist Sneakerwolf features a frog graphic and Mita Sneakers' signature chainlink fence pattern.
This Made in USA pair will release exclusively from Mita Sneakers on Saturday, Aug. 25 for ¥ 28,000 (around $254).
