The last time Tyga's LA Gear sneakers made headlines around these parts was in April, when the rapper was served with legal papers during a release event for the metallic kicks. Now, fresh off the release of a new "Liquid Silver" LA Lights colorway, the brand is touting the success of the collaboration.
"The Tyga collection has gone extremely well," LA Gear's president told WWD. "LA Gear is now in key retailers such as Shiekh Shoes and Footaction. It has generated a lot of excitement and buzz in the sneaker world."
If you're on the hunt for Tyga's "Liquid Silver" sneakers (pictured below), you'll have to track them down at the Footaction in Las Vegas' Miracle Mile Mall, where they'll be sold exclusively until next month. However, the gold version can be had now from LA Gear for $120.
