Last year, after the official unveiling of the MAG, Nike tapped Back to the Future star Michael J. Fox to show off the sneaker's futuristic capabilities. Now, as auto-lacing technology makes its way to performance sneakers, the brand is calling on another big name to give it a test run.
Cristiano Ronaldo shared the above clip on Twitter, expressing his delight to be the first athlete to try out the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 technology first-hand. Ronaldo gives the sneakers his stamp of approval, saying the latest innovation is a reason why Nike is "the best brand in the world."
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 debuts this holiday season in three colorways.
