That's because this is actually the first individually numbered pair in the run of 230. While scoring one of the 230 pairs is an impressive feat in its own, there's literally only one chance at owning number "1/230," and this is it.
These have actually been available on Grailed for 5 months now, but a series of price drops have brought them from an asking price of $5000 to $2430. While that's still a hefty amount, it's less than half of the original quote, so we wouldn't be surprised if someone jumped on these soon.
