Air Max Day's "Light Bone" Acronym x Nike VaporMax release was only the beginning of a three-sneaker collaboration that will continue into the month of May. Ahead of the next two drops, we're getting a closer look at the collection's "Black/Volt" make up.
@gc911 shared new shots of the shoes, which differ from the other two styles not just in colors, but in a handful of other ways. While the "Light Bone" and "Dark Stucco" colorways are liberal in their use of the range's camouflage-like pattern, this "Black/Volt" version takes a more subtle approach with faint volt strokes covering the black Flyknit upper.
At the bottom, the styles introduces a painted opaque black VaporMax sole, which is covered in volt speckles and capped off with translucent segments at the forefoot and heel. Elsewhere, the reinforced heel counter—one of the only functional adjustments Acronym added to the model—appears in a vibrant volt with co-branding throughout.
This Acronym x Air VaporMax Moc 2 colorway drops Thursday, April 26 for $225 from SNKRS and select Nike retailers. That will then by followed by the "Dark Stucco" color on May 15.
