Updated Release Details for the New Acronym x Nike Air Prestos

Acronym's popular mid-top variation of the Nike Air Presto might be making its way back to retail this year. According to @py_rates, new colorways of the model are set for Fall 2018.

The first mock-up indicates a bright color scheme is on the way with a yellow neoprene upper and black accents. The second pair shows the potential for a more subdued black colorway with a cool grey lacing cage and midsole. These would act as a sequel to the 2016 trio of Presto Mids that were widely considered among the best sneakers to release that year.

If the rumors are true, this will be the second Nike project for Acronym slated for this year. Earlier this week, images of a VaporMax FK Moc 2 also surfaced.

Stay tuned as more details emerge on the possibility of this highly-anticipated collaboration.

UPDATE (08/23): @J23app has shared a first look at the collection's "Racer Pink/Photo Blue/White/Black" colorway. Rather than simply add new colors to the previous design, the entire sneaker has been given an overhaul which includes a graphic print reminiscent of the Acronym x Air VaporMax Moc 2 and branded taping across the toe seam. There's also what appears to be a reinforced portion beneath the cage, which should alleviate some of the wear-and-tear issues experienced on the previous version.

UPDATE (8/30): The rollout for the new Acronym x Nike Air Prestos officially kicked off today beginning with promo from designer Errolson Hugh. The futuristic video clips preceded a surprise early SNKRS drop of the "Racer Pink/Photo Blue/White/Black" colorway, but there's still more to come from the collab.

According to py_rates, the latest drop date from global retailers is set for Thursday, Sept. 20. Each colorway will retail for $200.
