An Adidas collaboration could be on the way with the iconic '90s anime series and video game franchise Pokémon.
Thanks to @hugokickz on Instagram, there is now a first look at some pairs from the potential collab. Two casual low-top silhouettes have been remixed to represent some of the most popular original Pokémon, Pikachu and Squirtle. Each covers a white leather upper in a subtle all-over pattern that features illustrations of each respective character in various poses. Yellow and blue heel tabs used on each pair represent the colors of Pikachu and Squirtle.
The main detail on each shoe is the colorful character patch embroidered on the medial side panel in place of traditional Three Stripes branding. A co-branded tongue tag sporting the official Pokémon logo completes the design.
Official release information regarding this rumored Pokémon x Adidas collection is currently scarce, but check out some initial images of both pairs below. Adidas has refused to comment on the the potential collaboration at this time.
