New Orleans boutique Sneaker Politics is hosting a special block party this weekend in collaboration with Jordan Brand. Anyone attending the event will have an early opportunity to purchase the upcoming "Katrina" Air Jordan 3.
The "Katrina" colorway is set for its global release on May 12, but it makes perfect sense for the New Orleans-based shop to have something special—after all, the "Katrina" colorway was originally auctioned off to raise funds for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts.
The Jordan Brand x Sneaker Politics block party will take place on April 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. CST. According to Sneaker Politics, more details regarding the event are going to be made available throughout the week.
