Adidas has unveiled the latest lineup of sneakers from decades past with its Spezial collection for the fall/winter 2018 season. Dubbed the "Acid Winter" collection, it will consist of various footwear, apparel, and accessories inspired by Acid House to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the '80s house music subgenre.
Adidas dips into its archives to create retro-inspired silhouettes like the Lowertree, Munchen Super, Indoor Comp, and Punstock. With the exception of the very casual appearance of the brown leather Punstock, each pair from the season's first drop is given a bright color scheme that includes shades like blue, green, purple, and teal across premium leather and suede uppers.
The series notably includes a lime green suede pair of the Munchen Super that takes inspiration from an '80s Gazelle colorway.
Looks for the entire Adidas Spezial "Acid Winter" collection to hit adidas.com and other select retailers on Friday, Sept. 7 for $110-$120.
