After initially being spotted on actor/director/style icon Jonah Hill this past October, Adidas has officially unveiled the Lxcon.
The brand's latest Originals silhouette championed by the Mid90sdirector is fittingly inspired by a 1994 runner from the Adidas archive. Fitting comfortably into the current retro runner trend, the shoe features a unique overall shape. Its one-piece knit upper is accented with fabric Three Stripes overlays on each side panel, TPU piping running from the heel up to the toe, and a branding stamp on the tongue. The upper sits atop a chunky midsole with Adiprene cushioning in the heel.
Two colorways will be used to debut the Lxcon. One features a white upper, black accents, and blue Three Stripes. The other opts for a '90s-inspired color scheme with a tan upper, teal detailing, bright red laces, and purple branding.
Look for the Adidas Lxcon to hit adidas.com and other select retailers on Feb. 2 for $120.
