John Wall's future with the Washington Wizards is uncertain following a shaky start to the season, but the All-Star point guard is still in good standing with his endorser, Adidas. New images have surfaced of an upcoming PE colorway of the Crazy BYW X that is reportedly hitting retailers in the near future.
The player exclusive design was originally debuted on the hardwood by Wall this past March in a game against the Detroit Pistons. It features a black knit upper with white, orange, and pink accents. This pair is also covered in various details specific to the former number one draft pick and sits atop a blacked-out, podular Boost midsole. "Wall Way" is embroidered in large white lettering on the lateral side of the left shoe, "Five Deep" is emblazoned on the right shoe as a tribute to his childhood friends, and "Just a Kid From Raleigh" is written in orange on the heel tab to represent his hometown. The area codes for North Carolina, Kentucky, and Washington D.C. are also printed on the outsole as an ode to his childhood, collegiate, and professional homes.
Wall re-signed a five-year deal with the Three Stripes at the top of this year after parting ways with the brand in 2015. An official release date and pricing for the "Wall Way" Adidas Crazy BYW X has yet to be announced, but check out official images below.
