There can't be a discussion of sneakerheads in hip-hop without bringing up Wale's name. Since his days of putting out mixtapes, MMG crew member Wale has put the hottest sneakers in his rhymes and on his feet—all while putting on for the DMV. Complex's Director of Content Strategy, Joe La Puma, got the chance to meet up with Wale at UNKNWN, LeBron James' sneaker store in Miami, and pick his brain as they looked over sneakers.
