Sneakers have always been a major part of basketball, but the 2018-2019 NBA regular season saw the marriage between both reach its apex. The new footwear rules allowed players let their imaginations run wild. With the shoes no longer having to match team colors, a player’s personal style was no longer contained to the tunnel before the game. The result was a mix of colorful customs, popular retros, and special PEs gracing the court all season long. Perhaps nobody was able to capitalize on the NBA's new relaxed approach than Houston Rockets forward P.J. Tucker who seemed to one-up himself every single night with the insane pairs he decided to lace up. Although there are certainly a ton of other moments to choose from, we narrowed it down to the 20 best. Take a look at our picks for the top 20 sneaker moments of this past NBA regular season below. —Mike DeStefano
