Vans continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary on the snow with a limited edition binding that’s a result of a collaborative effort with Union (one of the leading binding produces in the industry). Similar to the Vans Snow 2014 “Mountain Edition” Collection we previewed last month, the Vans x Union binding pays tribute to Vans’ influence and heritage in snowboarding.
The partnership with Union Bindings is the first of its kind for Vans Snow, but based off what the final product looks like, hopefully it won’t be the last.
Here’s what Vans Snow had to say about the latest move in a recent press release: “Vans proudly announces the 20th Anniversary of Vans Snow this winter season, honoring over two decades of influential boot design, individual expression and authenticity in snowboarding. Shaped by Vans’ renowned heritage as the original action sports footwear brand since 1966, Vans Snow cements it legacy in snowboarding with twenty years of iconic heritage dedicated to being “Off the Wall” and on the snow.”
The announcement of the Vans x Union binding collaboration is accompanied by a video featuring professional snowboarder Jamie Lynn, who discusses the product development and heritage of two of the hottest brands in the sport. Check it.
