Sure you know that the Toronto menswear scene is on fire right now... but, what about footwear? You probably already know about Sully Wong and WANT Les Essentiels. Okay, the WANT boys are technically from Montreal but you get the point, Canada is ripe with shoe brands these days. And now entering into the sneaker game is Luigi Sardo.

Luigi Sardo was started by two fashion designers, Markus Lacaria and Gianfranco Catalfo, who became fed up with the offerings of "fast-fashion" retailers, so they decided to create their own footwear brand. Their first foray into footwear was focused on classic leather boots. These boys made great leather boots that didn't cost you too much coin. They even managed to score some celebrity fans in a very short time, including NBA all-star Demar Derozan of the Toronto Raptors. But now the boys have set their sights on being a full streetwear lifestyle brand by adding clothing and sneakers into the mix. The brand will now be offering some streetwear classics like fishtail tees and cargo jogging pants. But we are particularly impressed with the new sneaker range that includes low cuts, mid cuts and high tops in luxe leathers. Available in black or white.
