The ALS #IceBucketChallenge has taken the world by storm, so much so, that even NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell took on the challenge after being nominated by former New Orleans Saints linebacker Scott Fujita.

“I want to thank Scott Fujita for nominating me for the ALS ice bucket challenge. I’m honored to accept the challenge, and make a donation on behalf of team Gleason. When I dry off from this, I’m going to challenge Pete Carroll and Michael Strahan.”
Goodell did the challenge in the name of former New Orleans Saints safety Steve Gleason, who has been battling ALS since 2011. Goodell took on the challenge head on and cut no corners as he used a garbage pail filled with ice water. The commish also nominated Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, who's no stranger to the gatorade bath, and accepted the challenge and will post his video later on today. Since July 29, when the challenge began, ALS has raised over $1.35 million in donations for the disease and has caused such a buzz that even President Barack Obama was nominated, but declined and instead offered off a large donation instead.
