In addition to Titan22 and Two 18, South African sneaker and streetwear store Shelflife joins the growing list of global partners that will soon get an Air Jordan 2 collab.
Official product images of the Shelflife x Air Jordan 2 Low have popped up on the backend of Nike’s website, which possibly indicates that the release of the collab may be happening shortly. Shelflife keeps things simple for its forthcoming Jordan 2 collab with a simple sail-based makeup on the leather upper that includes hairy suede panels at the forefoot. There are also hits of orange on the tongue’s Wings logo along with a special “Team Only” tag behind the tongue. The shoe also comes with a special footbed featuring co-branded details.
There are currently no release details available for this Shelflife x Air Jordan 2 Low collab, but grab a closer look at the shoe below as we await more info from the brands.
UPDATE (10/14): Shelflife has officially announced its Air Jordan 2 Low collaboration. In-store releases in Johannesburg and Cape Town will take place on Oct. 20 followed by an online release at shelflife.co.za on Oct. 21. Dubbed “Team Only,” the sneaker is inspired by the store’s community roots and functioning together like a team sport. The pair will retail for 3900 ZAR, which converts to around $215 USD.
