A follow-up to the release of the Reebok Zig Kinetica Concept_Type 1, the brand has officially unveiled the latest Zig Kinetica model scheduled to launch next month with the help of MMA’s biggest star and endorsee, Conor McGregor.
Reebok's ZigTech technology that was originally introduced on the ZigPulse model back in 2010 is a key design element to the latest Zig Kinetica. Seen on the distinct zigzag-shaped midsole is a three-part cushioning system featuring Floatride Fuel, Zig Energy Shell, and Zig Energy Bands. Floatride Fuel helps cushion the wearer's underfoot, while the Zig Energy Shell provides energy return. Lastly, the Zig Energy Bands increase responsiveness for every step.
Reebok keeps it simple for this iteration of the Zig Kinetica with an all-black upper that's contrasted by a red branding, as well as a red ZigTech midsole.
The Reebok Zig Kinetica releases on Feb. 21 at reeebok.com for $120. In celebration of the launch, “Zigurine” action figures of Conor McGregor, limited to only 100 pieces, will also be available. They are handcrafted by legendary stop motion puppeteer, Andy Gent.
