One of the rarest Nike Air Max 97s of all time is up for grabs just in time for Air Max Day, a Nike-manufactured holiday that will be observed on March 26.
Today, luxury consignment marketplace The RealReal announced that it’s selling the “Eminem” Air Max 97 in a men’s size 10 for a whopping $50,000 in celebration of Air Max Day this weekend. The sneaker, said to be limited to eight pairs, was made available via an Air Max-themed charity auction in 2006 that also included additional sneakers like the Air Max 90 and the Air Max 180. The shoe features a predominantly brown upper that’s contrasted by white and blue trim, while Eminem’s signature appears on the toe box.
In addition to the “Eminem” Air Max 97 that’s now listed on the marketplace, The RealReal is also selling over 100 pairs of Nike Air Max sneakers this week, which can be acquired at Therealreal.com now.
