It was reported today by Darren Rovell that Nike has raised the price of the two out of the three types of jerseys that football fans will flock to this fall.
Expect the jerseys to start ranging from $100 to $295 depending how similar you'd like your look to be to the pros. The standard game jersey will go for $100, limited edition with twill aplique will go for $135 to $150, and the elite jerseys that are closest to what actual NFL players wear will go up to the highest price point of $295. Start saving sports fans.
Though Nike has heavily marketed the performance technology incorporated in their game day jerseys, since entering in their five-year deal with the League there has been a steady price increase on such products.
