Kevin Durant's latest shoe, the Nike KD 9 Elite, is back on Wednesday with a surprise release of the "Pearl Pink" colorway seen here. While the shoe surfaced last week, no specific sneaker release date was attached. Today, stores like Concepts and Kith made the model available. The shoe doesn't appear to have released via Nike online in the U.S., but pairs are available through the brand's U.K. site.
Although Durant's had plenty of pink shoes release before via the "Aunt Pearl" series paying tribute to his late relative, this one is not explicitly connected to those.
Nike has typically spun its Elite models as post-season designs, so Durant should wear this silhouette as he and the Golden State Warriors advance to the playoffs. He's gotten a head start on that already by wearing the KD 9 Elite during recent regular season games.
