Nike Adds Flyknit to Roger Federer's Tennis Shoes

The Zoom Vapor Tour 9.5 just got better.

The tennis sneaker that just won't quit, the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour 9 (now technically on the 9.5 iteration), is back once more with a tech upgrade that brings Flyknit into the mix. This time around the shoe is slid under the brand's NikeCourt umbrella, as evidenced by the logos of the imprint on the tongues.

Nike's introduction of the shoe is tied with Wimbledon, meaning that Roger Federer will be donning the sneakers for that leg of the Grand Slam.

The Flyknit upper here is borrowed from the Flyknit Air Max, using a tighter weave at the midfoot and an open one on the toe for breathability.

This Federer Flyknit footwear releases at Nike here on June 25.
