After stamping Hommewrk on the map with a range of Jazz 81 colorways over the past few years, Trinidad James is linking back up with Saucony for a second sneaker collaboration with the brand. James, a co-host of Complex's Full Size Run, debuted his follow-up during today's new episode.
According to James, the Hommewrk x Saucony Spot-Bilt Sonic Hi is a tribute to women's basketball. The year 1976 is noted on the shoe's heel in reference to women's basketball making its Summer Olympics debut, during which Lusia Harris scored the first-ever basket in Olympic women's basketball history. There are also less subtle details such as the functional hair clip-inspired deubrés on the laces.
As of now Trinidad hasn't announced a release date for the Spot-Bilt Sonic Hi, but expect to hear more details from the Hommewrk camp soon.
